Zooppa continues to grow and look towards Europe
H-Farm, the venture incubator that facilitates new start-ups based on innovative Internet sector and digital media business models, has named Luca Mesaggi Managing Director of Zooppa Europa.
Born in H-Farm in 2007, Zooppa.com, an American company based in Seattle and headed by the former European President of Time Fortune Wil Merritt, was the first on the web to offer an open formula for advertising where the consumers themselves can create online publicity spots for companies. Having taken part in over 90 competitions with some of the world’s leading brands, this model has defined today’s Social Advertising.
Luca Messaggi was born in 1972 and grew up in the world of media and advertising. He started in London in 1997 at Photonica and moved on to Zefa, Teutonica and Corbis Italia, the Italian branch of the American corporation, privately held by Bill Gates and a world leader in photography. In the last ten years Luca Messaggi has gained valuable international experience in running indirect networks, which is why he has been chosen to develop Zooppa in Europe.
“I firmly believe in this project, which at the moment is unique in Italy. I am happy to accept this responsibility because I believe Zooppa has the opportunity to do many different things, to grow and expand successfully while having fun,” stated Luca Messaggi.
“Luca has great vision and knows this world really well,” says H-farm founder Riccardo Donadon. “I am convinced that together with Luca, Zooppa has a great chance to grow further and consolidate this innovative model’s position in Europe.”
