Last weekend H-Farm has hosted, for the first time in Italy, Venice Startup Weekend.
It is an innovative event that has the aim to recruit a highly motivated group of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists with the one main objective: to define a real entrepreneurial project in 54 hours.

On friday the "startup weekenders" arrived and during the evening all the ideas were presented and selected; 6 ideas were chosen: Branda, GoWar!, Plashion, Green Pluggers, Aramble, Hamlet.

On saturday the groups were formed and the people started to work on projects: a changelling day! It's raining cats&dogs and the guys worked in the convivium stopping only for lunch! Amazing!

On sunday morning the last hours to get ready for the presentation and finally the projects exposition!

A qualified jury assessed the projects and finally decreed the winners!

1st prize 3.500 euros, roulotte office (air conditioning) to: GoWar! Geo social game for mobile Platform, Risk brought to your mobile: conquer your friends' territories checking in in their spots, buy more troops and tanks, get around to discover new places to be attacked!

2nd prize! 1500 euros, roulotte-office (no air onditioning) to: Green Pluggers, a smart plug to monitor your energy consumption: it makes your bills more transparent, helps you understand where the electricity is going in your house and allows you to share with friends your green behavior through a web portal.

3rd prize 1000 Euros roulotte-office (no air conditioning) to: Plashion, a Place for Fashion. Share your fashion products with your friends before actually buying them, directly from the dressing room; "how do I look with this jumper?" now you can get a real time feedback on your clothes thanks to our mobile app!
