Time for Sonar 2010 is upon us and Thounds have been invited and requested to present their showpiece, the public API, on Friday 18th in the SonarPro area along Industry renowned names such as Yamaha, Reactable, Ableton to mention but a few amongst many others.

Sonar is one of most important International Festival of Advanced Music and Multimedia art in Europe and will be on 17-18-19- June in Barcellona.

The legendary festival line up this year includes The Chemical Brothers, Roxy Music, Air, LCD Soundsystem, Plastikman, Jónsi, Dizzee Rascal, 2manydjs, Booka Shade, Hot Chip, Caribou, Matthew Herbert's One Club, Flying Lotus, Pete Tong, Joy Orbison, New Young Pony Club, Uffie, Jimi Tenor & Kabu Kabu, Hudson Mohawke, DJ Hell, Delorean, The Pinker Tones, Sandwell District...

There, Thounds will unveil the public API for all for the first time. After that anyone will be able to develop their own application that integrate and operates with Thounds data: An ever growing library of music and a community of users and contributors. The presentation will also show a working client application together with some ideas and suggestions for it.
