Telecom Italia and Wired launch a new contest on Zooppa.com
From 3 July to 30 September 2009 all web-crazy people can make a video on the theme I Love The Internet and upload it on ZOOPPA.COM
I Love The Internet is an initiative that takes up the ideas and attitudes of a group of professionals, webheads and citizens who claim that the Internet and innovation are the fundamental parts of our future and its engine of change.
Now I Love The Internet has become an international competition supported by TELECOM ITALIA and WIRED ITALIA and hosted by ZOOPPA.COM, the social network with over 40,000 creative members that has revolutionized the way to advertise. The aim of the collection of videos that users will make is to become a video manifesto, the first in Italy, that celebrates the importance of the web.
Riccardo Luna, director of Wired Italia, explains the idea behind I LOVE THE INTERNET in the competition video-brief: “I love the Internet because it is a continuous conversation, a place where we can all communicate. Or rather, it is the largest communication platform that we have ever had. If you too, like us, love the Internet send us a video: we will make the web manifesto all together.”
Until 30 September 2009 anyone is welcome to participate with their video declaration of love simply by signing up to ZOOPPA. The best ideas will share prizes worth a total of $9,700. “Hosting the first manifesto of love for the web fills us with pride. Ours is a project born on the web to invest in the value of the content created by the users,” says Elisa Perillo, Country Manager of ZOOPPA Italia, “so, we have jumped on this project with great enthusiasm as it fully reflects ZOOPPA’s identity and its creative community.”
