iBiennale iPad app by LOG607
Today at the official press conference that launches the Venice Biennale LOG607 presents iBiennale, a completely new way of exploring the catalogue of the 12th International Architecture Exhibition by interacting with images, videos and texts.
Now available on the Appstore is the first iPad application dedicated to the Venice Biennale, a vast interactive version of the catalogue of the 2010 edition. As well as giving you access to all catalogue contents on works and artists, it lets you flip through images, watch new videos that take you into installations, personalise your visit and take notes. All from the comfort of your iPad!
iBiennale is an exciting new virtual notepad offering you a thrilling unique experience. Multidimensional navigation takes you through all the exhibition contents; you can go from one work to the next or from one artist to the next using a series of proximity filters like name or place indexes or thematic analogy that will personalise your virtual visit and give you a new slant on the exhibits. Extra video contents take you so close up to the works that you will feel you are almost touching them. iBiennale uses a vast gallery of photos, videos and interactive contents to show you installations, projects and documents. It lets you start planning your visit to the Exhibition from the comfort of your home, marking your favourite works, organising your tour and taking notes. Its simple interactive approach transforms your visit to the 12th International Architecture Exhibition into a dynamic immersive experience.
