State of the Net
On 22nd June Garage will join a session dedicated to smart cities at State of the Net, a conference about the state of Internet in Italy.
The event is back this year to investigate the state of the art of Internet and how it is impacting our society, with a program built on challenges between dualities that describe the evolution of the Internet and with an impressive group of speakers.
Hierarchies vs. networks, privacy vs. transparency, copyright vs. copyleft, communication vs. information are just some of the themes that we will be exploring in two days in Trieste.
Conference's format is based on keynotes setting themes which are then discussed in open conversations with experts and all the attendees in the main room.
The conference will be held of 22 and 23 June in the old port of Trieste, one of the most extraordinary historical and cultural heritages in Europe.
State of the Net was founded by Beniamino Pagliaro, Paolo Valdemarin and Sergio Maistrello. Members of its steering committee are among the most experienced experts in Italy and Europe.
